You can always reject a suggestion that does not align with your desires while accepting only those ideas which you feel are for your highest good.

When you are in my studio for a psychic reading it is easy for me as a clairvoyant healing channel to see and feel the energies of your chakras. I can immediately tell which ones are working below capacity or over extended. Even though I might be giving you a psychic reading only by telephone I am still able to psychically, clairvoyantly, see the energies being emitted from each of your chakras and assess their individual health.

Why concern yourself with your chakras? Your chakras are vitally important to your health in all your “bodies”: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When each one of these vortices of energy or wheels of light and color is vibrating to the right frequency and entraining with the other chakras all goes well. But when one is sluggish, partially closed off, or conversely, over active, the whole line of energy from the top of your head to the base of your spine is negatively affected. Your central column is not clear and flowing with energy as it was intended to be.

As a psychic it is easy for me to see if a chakra is cloudy, too pale or too dark in color.  Although the color of each chakra is different the optimum shade and luminosity would appear as if you were seeing it as in a stained glass window with light pouring through.

What can be done to correct chakra imbalance? How important is it? Illness can develop. Depending on the role of the affected chakra you may begin to experience various degrees of general discomfort.  For instance a first or base chakra which lacks energy can manifest as fear of finances, worry concerning family and relationships or just of feeling of not being “grounded”, spacey. That kind of stress can cause many illnesses. On the other hand too much energy in that chakra may cause a person to be demanding, stubborn and willful.

If your second or sacral chakra is weak you may feel confused or unsure as to how to access and express your own creativity. If it is overactive it may present obsessive sexual behavior.

The third or solar plexus chakra has a very important role in allowing you to feel what is right and good for you and what is not. It is a highly emotional center and as such can be a great help in manifesting your desires (think fire in the belly). Any idea when combined with strong emotion can be brought to fruition. If the solar plexus chakra is not working to capacity it can be difficult to access your intuition. An overactive third chakra can lead to emotional and mental confusion.

The fourth or heart chakra will indicate whether you are able to give and receive love as well as whether you allow yourself to forgive yourself and others for seeming errors. A constricted heart chakra can easily have negative effects on the physical circulation system. When it is open and flowing it contributes to joy and optimism.

The fifth chakra governs all manner of communication: speaking, writing and listening. It is the center of power. When it is depleted the energy in the total system is reduced. You may become unable to speak up for yourself, to make your desires heard. If it becomes overactive there can be an attempt to control others or become egocentric.

The sixth or third eye chakra is the place where creative visioning occurs. Manifestation always begins with a visionary idea. If the third eye is slow or only partially open it is difficult to visualize strongly enough to bring about positive changes for the future. If it is overactive it may be hard for a person to be in the present or now, tending to “space out” living solely in their imagination.

The seventh or crown chakra requires access to the highest spiritual energies. As long as it is properly open and vibrating only the divine truths of the I Am Spirit will come into your energy bodies. Much of the energy for your physical body comes through that chakra. When it is partially closed you may fill listless and run down. It also becomes more difficult for the soul to spiritualize and to advance.

There are many ways of correcting the energy in the individual chakras. If you and I are a distance from each other I will make suggestions to you over the telephone or internet for breathing in certain colors or perhaps activating one or more of the chakras with pure golden divine energy bringing it through the crown. Many times certain musical recordings will help a particular chakra regain its intended momentum and direction. Particular kinds of physical exercise can be of benefit. Essential oils are another possibility.

If however you are with me in my studio for chakra therapy I will utilize my eight tuning forks (each individually musically tuned to a specific chakra), quartz crystals, color breathing and powerful affirmations. Certain essential oils or stones may be suggested. When the chakras are clean, clear and fully energized you with your aura become a virtual rainbow of color with the color of one chakra blending and merging with the next as they support each other.

This manner of clearing and aligning the chakras can bring out old traumas from this life or a past life to be addressed and removed. Since our karmic returns are stored in the chakras, many believe that this negative energy removal can have the effect of minimizing karma.

Invariably the effect of the chakra therapy will bring a peaceful, grounded, balanced, “all together” feeling to my client. It is as if they have returned to wholeness without any fragmentation.

It set me to thinking. Why not? What awful thing would happen if the two were to meet in a fruit salad? Would their various components attack each other? Have we ever actually tried the two together? Or is it simply that we have learned that this combination is unacceptable practice or incorrect for some other reason?

Now I do not suggest that we must all try this different form of fruit salad! No, what I am suggesting is that just maybe each of us might have some other suspect ideas in our life beliefs.

Could it be that we are individually or collectively holding on to ideas that have no legitimate basis? Our lives might benefit by presenting some of those ideas concerning “correct and not correct,” “good and bad” with a little closer analysis.  

As you may have guessed the look at our personal beliefs could span an enormous number of subjects.  After all it was all too easy to accept those ideas about right and wrong, national origin, religious faiths, and modes of dress that we felt or heard as children. We might have learned not to speak unless spoken to or offer our own feelings or thoughts at any given time!

All I am suggesting is that whenever we turn away from a new idea, a new relationship, a new thought, we ask ourselves WHY? What is the deeper reason for rejecting this? Is the rejection based on known facts or an automatic deeply engrained habit? Perhaps it is a totally legitimate action or reaction but it is healthier to determine the reasons behind the reasons.

When we allow ourselves to be open to the new things of life trying different tastes and adventures, we become more “spacious”. We begin to completely actualize our lives. We live a fuller more beautiful experience of our life path. We can see the way to enlightenment perhaps even to our own ascension.

Plus, once in a while you might just find that you actually like a splash of “tomatoes with your bananas” even on a crispy lettuce leaf!

It was many years ago that my late husband was called to use his remarkable healing ability with a young father who was dying of cancer. The whole family was present in the home. My husband took the gentleman to another room for privacy. About an hour later my husband and his patient emerged. The young man was free of pain for the first time in many weeks.

As my husband Jim and I prepared to leave, Jim walked up to an older man in the room and touched him on the chest and said “You need to stop smoking.” With that we went home.

Unfortunately the father with cancer was not receptive to any of the suggestions my husband had given him. He refused to make any changes. He would not accept any of the healing energy other than pain relief. Apparently in his depression he had already made the decision to leave the earth plane. In fact, adamantly resisting the love offered from his family and friends, he died only a few days later, well in advance of his doctor’s prediction.

Here though is the remarkably interesting part of the story. It was probably two years afterward that we encountered the older man to whom my husband had spoken and touched.  When he recognized us he said, “You probably don’t remember me but you touched me on the chest one night long ago. You said I needed to quit smoking.  At the time I was going through three packs of cigarettes a day. I stopped that night and have never smoked since. There were absolutely no symptoms of ‘with drawl’. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and my wife thanks you as well.”

It is my belief that the healing energy which the young father rejected was given directly to the older man through the conduit of my husband’s hand. Because the gentleman was receptive he received the healing. Energy lives. It is never wasted.

Let me recount another healing energy event. My husband and I dearly loved my mother. We knew that she was very ill and earnestly hoped she would accept a healing. Because we lived many miles away, we meditated and energized ourselves late one evening preparing to send her distant healing. We worked with sending our healing projections until we felt we had sent enough energy to help her. We decided it was time to sleep.

 In what seemed like only an instant after preparing for bed, all of the energy we sent to her rushed right back to us.  It was obvious that Mother had subconsciously decided that her time had arrived and very effectively blocked all our efforts. As a result we were so completely filled with the energy which we had intended for her use that there was no sleeping possible for either of us. We worked with other projects long into the night.

Energy does not die. Energy is never wasted. Even when you see no results, keep using your Love and Light for the best you can envision.  It may be picked up and used by a total stranger but I guarantee you someone somewhere will be thanking you for your gift.

Today however I want to talk not about dads but about one extremely important Mother. That is our own precious and giving Mother Earth.

The news media is having a field day. Our television channels, our internet are both jammed as we receive almost minute by minute updates on the Gulf of Mexico oil leak…speeches, congressional inquiries, scientific opinions, on and on. There are multiple projections of how horrible this disaster will be. It is frightening, daunting and all too real.

In the midst of all this I cannot help but wonder if we would be paying a quarter of the attention to this disaster if it were happening in another ocean far away from our Florida shores on the other side of the globe. For our own comfort many times we turn a deaf ear if a particular problem does not affect us personally.

Human caused earth disasters are nothing new. I am reminded of the video images of polar bears as they lost their islands of ice at the pole. We see photos of the dense smog in China caused by industrial pollution.

Sometimes we do not admit our part in the damage that we as citizens of earth are doing day to day. We demand and use more and more energy to satisfy our desires.

If you have internet access you doubtless have received e-mails from friends suggesting various prayers and affirmations to assuage the damage in the Gulf and on the shores. All of those suggestions have merit and if used with intent and conviction any or all of them may be of some help.

There is a great noise being made over the guilt of the particular oil company whose well leaked, its C.E.O. and all the companies it hired. The incessant blame is heard loud and clear, repeated over and over again. There has been agreement about the large sum of money that will be earmarked to alleviate the suffering this spill has caused and its ongoing effects on the people and the environment.

The real problem is this: all the anger,blame and retributions in the world do not address the underlying cause. We, you and I, are asking our sacred mother earth to give more than she possibly can and to do it faster!

It is not this company or that company. It is us, individually and collectively. We are raping our own home. If we want to continue enjoying life on this beautiful planet we must make some changes.

What can we do one individual at a time? I am sure I do not have all the answers but I know we can make a start. Energy conservation is a pretty broad term so let’s break it down to some small solutions.

Do you have a bicycle gathering dust in your garage, hidden by the car? Would a little exercise help eliminate that extra weight around your middle? Or how about walking? Is the grocery less than six blocks away? Too far?

O.K., think about this: could you and your neighbor share the car trip to the grocery or the church or the library? It could be fun catching up on each other’s lives. That might also be a gallon or two of gasoline you don’t need to buy or burn.

Do you realize that all your plastic water bottles are made from petroleum as well? That suggests to me that recycling or reuse is important. At the same time I must confess I am absolutely the worst when it comes to remembering to take my canvass bag into the grocery instead of receiving still another round of petroleum-birthed plastic bags.

Planting a landscape that requires daily watering is a waste of another one of our valuable resources. It is no secret that the better way is to use native plants that are able to thrive without constant attention no matter what the weather.

Yes, I admit all of these ideas appear to be small stuff. So I want you to consider these things: the citizens of Atlantis eons ago used much different energy to accomplish their transportation needs; the builders of the pyramids moved boulders weighing tons without gasoline powered vehicles.

The huge rocks weighing many tons that are a part of the Coral Castle in Homestead Florida were moved into place at night using unusual, and as of yet undefined, energy. That energy to move such giant rocks may have been electricity or magnetism but that power was not provided by a coal burning electric plant or a gasoline powered generator.

Whether we believe it or not, we have access to the same energies used in all of these examples. Perhaps this is the time to claim our abilities on a higher level. Think for a minute what we are doing when we channel hands-on-healing to another person. Are we not using invisible energy?

Perhaps it is a different form of energy when we send healing, but knowing that is possible, could we not channel another kind of powerful energy? The possibilities involved certainly deserve our attention. One of you may be that particular person to bring forward one of those ancient energy sources.

A good beginning in our efforts to be kinder to Mother Earth would be to encourage our current day scientists to build their energy inventions by you and I monetarily supporting their ideas. Let us be willing to step up and fund the best energy saving ideas, those that give rather than take.

Let us support our best scientists and their innovative ideas and put those inventions into general use right now. We do not need to create one more gasoline powered engine. This effort of seeking workable, affordable alternatives and utilizing them could signal the start of a new era.

We need to begin today to love Mother Earth. Give her your gratitude by showing kindness and respect for her abilities. She is busy providing for all your basic needs. Thank her today.

How is your overall temperament? Yes, you will most likely find embedded memories of past good times but many of you also hold tightly to memories of past events that hurt you emotionally, perhaps even caused you physical or mental pain. You also may hold those memories, consciously or unconsciously, in one or all of your bodies in ways that are not so easy to see or recognize.

Where do we hide and hold these unhappy memories? What effects do they have? A negative memory stored in mind can cause ongoing reactions to those situations which we judge to be the same as before but are not!

Through holding such a memory we create drama where there needs to be none. In other words, we play out an old out dated scenario engaging in needless and hurtful repetition. It is a destructive life template that cries out to be replaced with something more positive.

What is it that triggers a particularly strong emotional response in us? Often I believe it is nothing more than an apparent similarity to unpleasantness from the past. Because it gives the appearance of being the same, we “boil over” just as we did before. In other words we pour forth emotion in anticipation of something that may or may not be true, may or may not happen. The event is not at all as we see it. We jump to a quick and possibly erroneous judgment.

Unfortunately every time we “warehouse” an unhappy past trauma we tend to give it more strength and ongoing life. Worst of all we store it in our physical body. From that storing of the event, we experience literal pain. If that trauma is mentally and emotionally fed over and over, it eventually manifests not only as physical discomfort, aches and pains, but as some sort of more serious disease.

Doesn’t the creation of those uncomfortable effects present reason enough to look carefully at what we refuse to forgive and let go, regardless of whether the incident is caused by ourselves or others?

If we are brave enough to look honestly at our automatic, moment to moment, reactions, we can make seemingly miraculous changes in our daily life experience! If we can catch ourselves in mid “knee-jerk outburst” and decide to stop and rethink, we will be faced with limitless POSITIVE POSSIBILITIES.

We can literally rewrite our own mental and emotional guidelines, changing those sometimes hidden ingrained pathways. We can access our own ability to allow and accept life’s surprises without regret or condemnation! By changing ourselves, changing our attitudes, we change our experiences. We begin to attract what we truly desire instead of settling for painful repetition and unhappiness.

Of course, ideally we would let go of any pain filled incident the moment it happened. Usually we do not. In fact many times we “rehearse” it, review it, endlessly.

So what can each of us do to extricate harmful energies that reside in any of our bodies, emotional, mental or physical? The good news is it appears there are endless numbers of possible therapies designed for just that purpose.

You might consider deep tissue massage, healing or hands-on touch, sound and color therapy to clear and align your chakras, crystal layouts, hypnosis, guided meditation, past life regression, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), cranial sacral work, Tai Chi, intuitive counseling and so many more diverse possibilities.

Your personality and any challenges you may face would be the determining factor in the method you choose. Certainly there are benefits to each of them but one or perhaps two will be more to your personal liking.

A true “clearing”, of your bodies, letting go of refuse or garbage and any miss-qualified energies, requires your intention and focus. It calls forth your most determined efforts as well as the desire to keep with the process. It is not an “overnight” job but one that holds the promise of enormous life-path benefits. It can be done!

Your chakras as a group contain all the colors of the rainbow in many varying shades while each individual vortex may be vibrating with only one color. Your overall aura or etheric body with its ever changing hues can contain myriad colors as well.

Chakra centers channel energy to you from the front, back and through your body. They bring in pure energy and are centers of consciousness. Are you aware that your chakras or these “wheels of light” as they are sometimes called, can store physical and soul memories even those of past or parallel lives? Consider the phrase “clearing karma”. Where might that karma be?

In my work with clearing and activating chakras I use three tools: crystals, tuning forks and color breathing. The crystal layout is for amplifying energy. The tuning forks are to achieve the desired vibration and speed of each vortex. Why color breathing? When a specific chakra is low in its appropriate color, it functions at a lesser level causing the adjoining chakras to be dampened or held back from their peak operating ability.

When all chakras are fully functional, clean and energized, there is an entrainment that happens between them resulting in a boost to your personal power.

A chakra that is clean and operating at optimum level is never muddy in color. The color should be light but luminous to reflect a healthy state. If I encounter a muddy appearance in any chakra while I am working with a client, I ask intuitively for the cause. If appropriate I can then offer some advice to them or adjust my work to correct the problem.

To enjoy a smooth physical and metaphysical/spiritual functioning, I ask my clients to use their imagination to breath colors into each chakra, one chakra at a time. I start with the base chakra and a clear red color, moving through the chain of chakras; using orange for the creative center, yellow for the emotions, green merging into pink for the heart and high heart, blue for communication, indigo for third eye, violet for the crown and finally white/gold/silver for the highest chakras which are above the physical body.

It has been my experience that even though I believe the colors to be correct, each person will vary those colors according to their own inner guide. In other words, if for you the sunshine yellow of your solar plexus or emotional chakra is more a pale lemon color, you should use that color. Whatever color or shade resonates with your intuitive understanding is the one you should employ.

It very well may be true that as we progress in our spiritual understanding or we move into higher levels of living and expressing, the colors we once used for our chakras may not be appropriate under the present circumstances. Going from 3^rd or 4^th dimensional living up to 5^th is bound to cause some changes in our energy needs.

Additionally I have found that some of my clients who are spending a good percentage of their time working in the higher realms of Spirit may need to be reminded from time to time to care for the three so called “lower” chakras. Those three can become quite depleted.

As long as we are living from a physical vehicle we need to be balanced and grounded utilizing the energies of the first or base chakra. The creative or sexual chakra plays an important role in our physical life and deserves attention. It is also especially important to be able to rely on our yardstick of emotions as provided by our solar plexus or third chakra.

What other methods can we employ to keep our chakras full of color? I suggest that we give particular attention to the color of our clothing. That is we can intuitively select the colors of the clothing we wear on any particular day or evening to ramp up our aura or to better fill a particular chakra.

In other words if you feel less than grounded or your self esteem and confidence are flagging, you might choose a red shirt or sweater. Feeling unloved? Bring out the green or pink. Need to fully or forcefully express your thoughts? Try blue to aqua.

Another method of selecting appropriate “refill” colors might be to use a pendulum to dowse some colored cards to get a “hit” on the color that is needed. You could also use the pendulum by asking “is my base chakra red enough?” or “does it need more energy or speed?” You could continue to take an inventory of the basic chakras in that way asking yes or no questions.

One of my friends in Tucson always suggests that you can draw a rainbow with color crayons. The idea is that as you draw and you feel your mouth want to water or salivate that is the color you need today! You may be perfectly balanced in colors or you may find one or more than one color is needed.

Whatever way you use to care for your chakras be sure to give them the attention they deserve. You will feel much more capable in so many areas of your life just because you spend a little extra time on this physical and spiritual health exercise.

Thankfully inside each one of you is an enormous, limitless supply of miracle producing, unconditional, open-hearted love. Unfortunately the truth is that many of us seem to have locked love away through fear of loss or perhaps because of various very personal disappointments of the past. The good news is that love is still there within each one of you, available, vital and ready to go to work in your life.

As a clairvoyant psychic, when I work with clients to clear and activate their chakras, I see that marvelous love energy swirling    in the area of the heart chakra as well as in that area that is sometimes referred to as the “high heart” chakra or thymus chakra. The “high heart” chakra is the energy wheel located between the physical heart and the throat.

The love in those two spinning energy centers may be sluggish or partial dormant but it is still there and fully capable of going to work for you in your life. I suggest you start activating that energy with your mind and thoughts.

If you are a visual person I would ask you to see your love’s energy blooming and shining forth lotus-like in luminous green blending upward into a soft pink. If you prefer to understand the heart chakras as a sound vibration it would be the musical tone “F”.

Acknowledge your vast capability of loving and continue to amplify that energy at the chakra level. When you feel as full of love as you can imagine, how should you use that energy?  Use it by beginning at once to love yourself exactly as you are right now with all your bumps and bruises of personality and seeming imperfections of body.

See your love energy touching every nerve and cell in your physical body. Remember also not to use any critical words against yourself—“if only I had said nothing…” or “I shouldn’t have…” or “I am just so silly and stupid”!

Instead of hurtful thoughts try some self love complements like these —“I do my very best every day,” “I am thankful for all my creative ideas”, and of course: “Wow! I did that just right.” Your body, mind and emotions will thank you for this love bath offered from your heart.

I promise you that your love will come forward with zest each time you are nonjudgmental and compassionate with yourself and others. It shines when you gift a stranger on the street with your smile. Your love blooms when you help a friend who is temporarily lost on his path. Just a beautiful positive thought sent out to someone who is troubled is love in action. No love thought or deed is ever wasted. Be assured the more love you use, the more you will have.

Whatever thought or daydream that you entertain be certain it comes from your heart and your love. There is always time to rationalize or work exclusively from the mental realm but no better time than now to come from a platform of love. Communication never seems to be simple but if you take the extra step to be sure that every word you write or speak comes from your heart, you will always be clearly understood.

Why concern yourself with opening to love? Quite simply because love is life’s most positive and powerful force. Most of you would welcome some sort of change or improvement in your life experiences. So if there is any situation in your life today that causes you unhappiness or distress, try love. Give your personal love and the love you draw from Spirit a chance to prove itself Love will heal any emotional, mental and physical discomfort. Love activates the natural healing ability of anyone who will accept its’ energy.

Perhaps you have been told or read: “Live by the wisdom of Love.” “Speak from the heart.” “Be kind.” “Do no harm.” “Step aside from the negativity of all judgment.” “Hear yourself and others, not with your mind, but with love from your heart.” “Be the radiant energy of pure Love.” “Forgive, forgive, forgive.”

All of these suggestions are good ones, but where are the directions to attain this life lived by Love? How can we open our hearts to that great an extent? Where should we begin? How can we become that pure heart essence and still live and work every day in a sometimes harsh human environment with all its conflicting demands?

If you will begin by putting aside judgment, you will lose all the unnecessary and exhausting dramas of life. In other words, simply allow other people and situations to be as they are without the need to comment or “fix” them.

Through this simple act of allowing, the triggers that might have sent you into conflict will no longer engage you. They will not affect you. Instead, you will be led to use genuine loving communication from your heart. The high Spirit will speak from your heart and soul.

The time to begin any change, large or small, is always now. Today is the day to express love. Today is the day to forgive yourself and others. Today is the day to start with a clean slate and a new more loving heart.

Listening to the unadulterated true spirit of your heart is a life long journey of love exploration. It is a commitment to enormous and fulfilling change. When anyone dares to live by love, beautiful changes are inevitable. New relationships, new careers, creative ideas arrive just for the accepting.

We are here in human form on this earth for the purpose of growth, growth of mind, emotion and spirit. The most direct route to accessing our own potential is the embracing and expressing of our personal love nature. We must open our hearts to our true divine self and the true divine self of others.

Every thought we think, every emotion we feel, every word we speak creates a ripple of energy. When those thoughts, emotions and words issue from pure love we become the light for ourselves, for others and for the planet.
