Waiting? Are you waiting? Should you? Many times as a psychic counselor my clients will speak to me of their hopes, their dreams, and their very personal aspirations. Unfortunately just as many times they will offer all the reasons why they cannot pursue their wishes or why they are not willing to attempt to go in search of avenues to create the fulfillment of those desires. Some of those excuses for inaction or as I refer to them “the I will WHEN avoidance tools” include: when the children are grown, when my life isn’t so hectic, when the economy improves, when my mate can be persuaded about my idea, when the weather cools, when I feel safe quitting this horrible job, when I lose weight and look better….. It goes on and on but they are still just excuses for staying stuck, immobile and unhappy.

When a deep seated soul desire continually knocks at your heart, doesn’t it make sense that you should move forward and begin to manifest it? What is it that stymies our ability to move forward?  Fear of encountering obstacles, fear of not achieving the desired results, fear of the negative opinions of friends, family, or strangers, fear of being somehow unworthy to reach so high, all of these fears and more can stand in the way of taking that first small action step toward reaching our desires. Believe it or not there are even folks who fear being too successful!

Frequently when I am reading for a client they will ask “just what is my life path?” How can I know if I am “on” it? My answer is that life path can always be found by uncovering and utilizing your own special talents.

Finding those gifts, abilities and talents you were born with and, through that exploration finding your life path, involves listening to the still small voice within your heart, your indwelling spirit. We all arrived on earth, this school of learning, to help and offer love to others but in our own unique personalized ways. The answer to accessing your life path is USE WHAT YOU WERE GIVEN!

When a particular idea haunts you, refusing to let you go, when it fills you with a warm emotional glow every time you entertain it, when it seemingly demands that you cherish it and hold it close, pay attention! No matter how large and overwhelming it seems to bring that desired result fully into your life, the reality is it only requires BEGINNNING. Take one small step at a time. Every day presents an opportunity to move forward to the fulfillment of your deep seated longing.

Write down your ideas, expand on them. Play with your ideas, change the approach till it feels right. Even the act of writing your thoughts, the energy you will use, contains miracle working power.

While the end result is still in the formative stages it is important to realize that many times it is best to hold your idea closely to your heart and not share it with others. However, you can still make a phone call or several calls that are your casual but alert inquiries. Gather information. Check out the online research possibilities. Sometimes the events you experience today give you that déjà vu feeling.  You might wonder if the people you meet or feelings they trigger in you are really just an “echo” from one of your own past lives together.  In fact, it seems as if none of us ever totally forget the emotion of events of those yesterdays long since passed.  We carry forward a range of physical, mental or emotional imprints that may appear as blessings or scars from those yesterdays.

As a healing channel when I am doing chakra clearing and alignment therapy with clients I notice that those past life memories are carried in the chakras. It is no surprise that as I am working with someone their past life events and traumas come forward to be recognized, addressed and healed.

As both a psychic medium and clinical hypnotist I have seen many interesting effects on a client’s current life as a result of past life experiences. For instance some of my clients when I take them into past life regression have been able to identify the event of the past which is the source of one of their “mysterious” unidentified physical or emotional pains. Having found when, where and why they experienced the pain in a former life rather than the current one, they are able to simply drop the pain, release it and let it go.

Past life regression also has the ability to point out why you decided to incarnate once again and what lessons you came to learn in this lifetime. Why concern yourself with your chakras? Your chakras are vitally important to your health in all your “bodies”: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When each one of these vortices of energy or wheels of light and color is vibrating to the right frequency and entraining with the other chakras all goes well. But when one is sluggish, partially closed off, or conversely, over active, the whole line of energy from the top of your head to the base of your spine is negatively affected. Your central column is not clear and flowing with energy as it was intended to be.

As a psychic it is easy for me to see if a chakra is cloudy, too pale or too dark in color.  Although the color of each chakra is different the optimum shade and luminosity would appear as if you were seeing it as in a stained glass window with light pouring through.

What can be done to correct chakra imbalance? How important is it? Illness can develop. Depending on the role of the affected chakra you may begin to experience various degrees of general discomfort.  For instance a first or base chakra which lacks energy can manifest as fear of finances, worry concerning family and relationships or just of feeling of not being “grounded”, spacey. That kind of stress can cause many illnesses. On the other hand too much energy in that chakra may cause a person to be demanding, stubborn and willful.

If your second or sacral chakra is weak you may feel confused or unsure as to how to access and express your own creativity. If it is overactive it may present obsessive sexual behavior.

The third or solar plexus chakra has a very important role in allowing you to feel what is right and good for you and what is not. It is a highly emotional center and as such can be a great help in manifesting your desires (think fire in the belly). Any idea when combined with strong emotion can be brought to fruition. If the solar plexus chakra is not working to capacity it can be difficult to access your intuition. An overactive third chakra can lead to emotional and mental confusion.

The fourth or heart chakra will indicate whether you are able to give and receive love as well as whether you allow yourself to forgive yourself and others for seeming errors. A constricted heart chakra can easily have negative effects on the physical circulation system. When it is open and flowing it contributes to joy and optimism.

The fifth chakra governs all manner of communication: speaking, writing and listening. It is the center of power. When it is depleted the energy in the total system is reduced. You may become unable to speak up for yourself, to make your desires heard. If it becomes overactive there can be an attempt to control others or become egocentric.

The sixth or third eye chakra is the place where creative visioning occurs. Manifestation always begins with a visionary idea. If the third eye is slow or only partially open it is difficult to visualize strongly enough to bring about positive changes for the future. If it is overactive it may be hard for a person to be in the present or now, tending to “space out” living solely in their imagination.

The seventh or crown chakra requires access to the highest spiritual energies. As long as it is properly open and vibrating only the divine truths of the I Am Spirit will come into your energy bodies. Much of the energy for your physical body comes through that chakra. When it is partially closed you may fill listless and run down. It also becomes more difficult for the soul to spiritualize and to advance.

There are many ways of correcting the energy in the individual chakras. If you and I are a distance from each other I will make suggestions to you over the telephone or internet for breathing in certain colors or perhaps activating one or more of the chakras with pure golden divine energy bringing it through the crown. Many times certain musical recordings will help a particular chakra regain its intended momentum and direction. Particular kinds of physical exercise can be of benefit. Essential oils are another possibility.

If however you are with me in my studio for chakra therapy I will utilize my eight tuning forks (each individually musically tuned to a specific chakra), quartz crystals, color breathing and powerful affirmations. Certain essential oils or stones may be suggested. When the chakras are clean, clear and fully energized you with your aura become a virtual rainbow of color with the color of one chakra blending and merging with the next as they support each other.

This manner of clearing and aligning the chakras can bring out old traumas from this life or a past life to be addressed and removed. Since our karmic returns are stored in the chakras, many believe that this negative energy removal can have the effect of minimizing karma.

Invariably the effect of the chakra therapy will bring a peaceful, grounded, balanced, “all together” feeling to my client. It is as if they have returned to wholeness without any fragmentation.

I feel led to share an experience with you that I had this July. I had been in a circle of Deeksha, Oneness Blessing Givers. I wanted to see what their method was about. After a meditation within the circle of six people and the application of “blessings” on me by four of the “givers”, I didn’t seem to feel much of anything different. Subsequently, things changed.

As you may already know Tucson is a community which is very serious about not using many night or street lights simply because there is so much astronomical work happening here. Studying the heavens is highly valued throughout the area! Consequently when I left the circle that night around 9 pm, it was quite dark outside.

As I was driving home in one direction, coming toward me on the sidewalk in the opposite direction was a tall thin man carrying a small sack of groceries. He had long tangled hair and beard. His clothes and shoes were long since worn out. He was the sort of person some people might have dismissed out of hand and looked the other way. However, for whatever reason, I looked directly into his eyes. The surprise was that I was immediately drawn to the area of his heart. There was a bright golden light around his heart radiating not only throughout his body but creating a circle of light on the sidewalk. The whole vision only lasted a second or two.  I drove on home feeling very light-filled myself.

Many of us have been told over and over again that as Spirits being gifted with a human experience we are all “one”. For me the experience of seeing the spiritual glow or energy of this one man shining with such intensity drove home that point with startling clarity.  You and I, no matter our life paths, our personalities or intentions, are sharing and living because of the vitality of the Divine, the I Am that I Am, the one Holy Spirit or God’s Love and Light.

Yes, decide to make a change or two or three or more! After all this is a time of rapid and sometimes radical changes here on earth. We need to be willing to change as well. While it is true that change is not always easy, for now and the foreseeable future, change and adaptation will be the way of our lives. Realize we all need to learn to flow with change and adapt.

We have all watched as global business fell, those pillars of our economy that we believed would stand forever. We have seen weather sweep in and demolish much that had seemed strong and permanent causing great loss of life. Even personal relationships we had forged with love were dissolved over something as small as a difference of opinion.

We wonder at the seeming chaos everywhere. What could be bringing all of this confusion into our lives? Where is this restlessness coming from?

Here is the truth as I see it. We have been far too complacent too long. We have felt that acting from our individual interests was good enough. We further assumed that if things did not work out according to our personal plan and intentions, there was always a structure in place, government or otherwise, that would take care of us.

Now is the time to wake up. It is the time to realize that we are intimately and irrevocably connected to every human on earth. We do not exist or act in a vacuum. Furthermore we arrived on this planet to serve. It does not matter what our talents are, a carpenter, a typist or a philosopher, it holds true that we are here to serve! The way we pursue our personal life path, everything we individually do, affects everyone else in a small or large way.

Why should we personally bother to make a change or a series of changes? To thrive and enjoy abundant life, or even to merely survive, we must move forward with new business models; new personal behavior models. It is time to look at our lives with an intensity we may never have used before. We need to measure every planned action of our own with the yardstick of unconditional love. Is this loving? How will it affect others? Is it kind? Is it needful? Otherwise we simply fall into the backwaters of indifference, affecting nothing in any positive way, just drifting through life, eating and sleeping wherever we find food and rest.

Yes, we know the earth is reinventing herself, trying to ascend. Are we going to be part of the solution or part of the problem? Can we analyze our lives and see where we need to change, where perhaps we need to “grow up” and take responsibility for those acts which add or subtract from the whole?

There is no other time which is more appropriate for committing to the practice of unconditional love than this time in which we are living. Separation between people or nations is not working. It never has. Wider rifts and more wars solve nothing.  Additionally, selfishly taking all of the resources of the earth in greater and greater amounts is not working and leaves our mother earth with no chance to recoup.

Let us look now and see how our lives are affecting the whole of life. What can we individually and mutually do to make the best changes, to create the most positive and gracious impact from the way we live our daily lives?

Doing some miscellaneous reading the other day, I happened on to a passage that said “while tomatoes are a fruit (scientifically) we mustn’t put them in a fruit salad!”

It set me to thinking. Why not? What awful thing would happen if the two were to meet in a fruit salad? Would their various components attack each other? Have we ever actually tried the two together? Or is it simply that we have learned that this combination is unacceptable practice or incorrect for some other reason?

Now I do not suggest that we must all try this different form of fruit salad! No, what I am suggesting is that just maybe each of us might have some other suspect ideas in our life beliefs.

Could it be that we are individually or collectively holding on to ideas that have no legitimate basis? Our lives might benefit by presenting some of those ideas concerning “correct and not correct,” “good and bad” with a little closer analysis.  

As you may have guessed the look at our personal beliefs could span an enormous number of subjects.  After all it was all too easy to accept those ideas about right and wrong, national origin, religious faiths, and modes of dress that we felt or heard as children. We might have learned not to speak unless spoken to or offer our own feelings or thoughts at any given time!

All I am suggesting is that whenever we turn away from a new idea, a new relationship, a new thought, we ask ourselves WHY? What is the deeper reason for rejecting this? Is the rejection based on known facts or an automatic deeply engrained habit? Perhaps it is a totally legitimate action or reaction but it is healthier to determine the reasons behind the reasons.

When we allow ourselves to be open to the new things of life trying different tastes and adventures, we become more “spacious”. We begin to completely actualize our lives. We live a fuller more beautiful experience of our life path. We can see the way to enlightenment perhaps even to our own ascension.

Plus, once in a while you might just find that you actually like a splash of “tomatoes with your bananas” even on a crispy lettuce leaf!

It has arrived! It is the first day of the first month of the new year 2011, 1-1-11. In many places around the world people are making heartfelt resolutions to personally improve their coming months and some are already breaking the resolutions they made. All of us earnestly long to have some better life experiences whether in relationships, health, finances or some aspect of personal growth. We want to see good changes in our lives!

Positive resolutions are good. Writing them down is even better. Anytime we focus our thoughts sufficiently to reduce them to written words we have created a reminder of our intended direction but even more important we have added extra energy to the ideas.

A decision or idea left floating on the wings of mind and imagination has a more difficult time making a successful landing. There is the strong possibility it will dissipate and be lost. Grounding a purpose filled direction by writing it in as great a detail as possible will give it momentum. Writing adds life energy!

At this time of new beginnings there is another writing exercise that can add to the success of our goals. In fact it is so effective that I would suggest it might be the first writing that should be done. That priority is a written inventory of everything in our current experience for which we are thankful.

No item or situation is too small or insignificant for the gratitude list. If it adds to your life, it should be on the list! No matter how many time this past year may have seemed grim there were bright spots for each us. Today we will acknowledge those things and people who are currently adding to our lives. This exercise will show each of us how much we truly have of value!            

It is no secret that a daily practice of gratitude will bring to each of us even more things for which to be grateful. Thankfulness for the present can clear the way for more friends, a better home, satisfying employment and a multitude of other pleasures. The truth is that living in gratitude is so powerful a force that it can even sweep away depression and physical illness.

There is a deep joy that immerges from our hearts as we are truly thankful for all of our life experiences. That joy ushers out any negative judgments and instead allows us to fill with unconditional love for ourselves and others.

It is my feeling that as we write our “gratitudes” we are paving and polishing the roadway for our successful new year. May your new year be filled with happiness, new adventure and all the satisfying accomplishments you can envision.

In my work as a counselor I have found that anyone over the age of 18 is quite likely to be carrying some amount or degree of regret; regret for what he or she did do or what he or she did not do. Occasionally that regret takes the form of all too heavy guilt. But be it regret or guilt it is still just another version of fear. We fear that because we were not “perfect” in some past action, we are always in danger of repeating some aspect of our own imperfection.

What if your judgment is flawed? What if you cannot access the right information? What if your timing is off? What if you already missed all the best opportunities and they are over and gone? Believe me when I say the “what if’s” are endless. Let’s turn them around. What if you are right? What if the best time is now?  What if all the energy in the world is ready to support your decision? What if the universe has been waiting for you to act and you do take action? What if your idea is perfect? WHAT IF YOU WIN?

Although you may not be consciously aware of it, if you are personally suffering with any of that emotional/mental heaviness called fear, it may have come from your acceptance of what others have told you was “wrong” or “bad”. Those ideas may have been pushed on you years ago from friends, spouses, parents, employers or others but the origin is not important. What is important is your reaction to that useless injurious acquired guilt, your decision to carry it on forever or to drop it and let it go. Each of us must take charge of our beliefs and those accompanying attitudes.

Whether we call it regret, guilt or fear it definitely has the effect of “dampening down” the Spirit. It causes one to live way too much in past hurtful events. When we live in past unhappiness we create present time unhappiness. In the extreme example, through our heavy thoughts and feelings, we recreate the past by manifesting similarly depressing situations in our future. Certainly not the reality we would wish to lay on ourselves and to experience yet one more time.

If we spend time over analyzing, reevaluating and in essence amplifying our past failures or mistakes, it leaves us with no time, impetus or desire for moving ahead. What is urgently needed is our own permission to start from where we are and begin again creating our most positive heartfelt desires.

If we look honestly at what we want from our lives it becomes obvious that we need to impress upon ourselves, upon our thoughts, our feelings, that not only are new beginnings possible and available, those new beginnings are standing in the wings waiting for us to acknowledge them. All the possibilities are there eagerly anticipating some sign from us that we are willing to take personal action on our own behalf to move ourselves forward.

There are a lot of avenues or ways in which we become fearful, stuck or lost. When a close loved one or friend leaves us through death or simply moves away, it can leave us with a damaged sense of self. Perhaps we feel somehow we caused the leaving, we were guilty of not doing this or that for their sake. Again we may feel we used inappropriate action or words. Whether or not we were overly dependent on the other person, nevertheless their leaving seems to leave a temporary hole in our lives.

It is natural to experience a period of grieving over any loss but after a reasonable time it is important then to move ahead with life. There comes a time when we must again see the love and beauty around us and within us. We need to acknowledge the wonder of our lives. We simply do not have the right to let the life God gave us to wither away unused and unfulfilled. We need to once again access our life path with the help of our heart and soul inspired dreams.

Sometimes a similar period of fear and grieving may assail us when for a reason or reasons that may be altogether unexpected and possibly quite unclear we lose our employment or other valuable financial assets. We worry we cannot even try something new. We feel the loss was caused by something we did wrong. The thought of having to forge ahead to a new more joyful way of living and earning leaves us feeling weak or incapable. What we should acknowledge is the possibility that with this apparent loss there is the arrival of a good chance, a genuine opportunity to try a new path. There is every reason to believe that better things lay ahead of any loss if we will agree to become positive explorers looking to the Light.

Whatever you may have heard, whatever you may have been told, you are neither too old nor too young to start again. And no, you are not too tall, too short, too fat, too thin or too inexperienced.

So you say you did not go to this college or that school? Where is your passion; in other words, what subject draws you in and will not let you go? What do you wish to learn? Find the teacher. Find the course. TEACH YOUR SELF!  You have full ability to take action today. Whatever your goal one little step a day will bring you there. Just start.

You don’t have the money? You don’t have the social standing? You need better clothes? You don’t have the right friends? You feel you are all alone. No one to help you. We can all find excuses. Let’s decide not to. Instead let’s take action.  Talk to your guides. Talk to your angels. Talk to your high self. All of your helpers are your loving allies. They simply stand by, waiting for your call.

Begin with what you have. Begin right where you are. You are valuable. Don’t waste yourself and your time. Keep your efforts going till you accomplish your goals. There is always more than one way up the hill. If you sincerely want to find your road and are willing to begin by putting your energy into the hunt, you will find it. You will keep on keeping on till you find yourself at the top.

Select a personal journal and begin today writing in it. Fill it full of your optimistic ideas, your positive faith-filled dreams. Even if they seem impossible or improbable, write them down anyway. What looks impossible today may very well be the perfect idea tomorrow.

This is your private book. In privacy read your ideas out loud to yourself again and again. Adjust them as you feel led until you are certain they are whole. You may have that perfect idea or desire that is capable of drawing in all manner of assistance perhaps even entrepreneurial help and financing if that is what is needed. You may have an idea that will change your whole life or change the world.

Suppose your dream has always been to travel. Get a scrapbook started with all kinds of routes and pictures. Cut out itineraries. Put energy into your choices. I remember reading of the success of a single lady who wore a colorful dress printed with pictures from various foreign countries. She wore her “creation dress” at every opportunity. Somehow her programmed trips just seemed to find her.

If you are looking for a new life partner, what sort of person would fit with your personality and lifestyle? Don’t be afraid to put the details down in writing in your journal. Get down to the specifics and then decide if you might need to make some adjustments to yourself. Perhaps taking part in some more outgoing social events might be in order. It is hard to meet people if you are hiding out at home. Maybe your smile has been under utilized lately. You can fix that!

Whatever you wish to create try to see it as a whole picture, the completed manifestation. Imprint it on your mind. Really feel the feelings it would give you. How would the satisfying results affect you? What results would you see? Then start believing you have those results right now. You and your imagination have limitless power. Create your new beginning in any form and in any way you wish! Not even the sky is the limit.

I know that nothing in this world is “incurable”. I know that everything in this world can be changed for the better! Through faith-filled intention all situations can be adjusted and moved into their highest and best outcomes.

I have read the book the Master Key System quite a number of times. In fact I have even listened to it on CD’s. Isn’t it funny how you believe you have absorbed everything contained in a particular writing and then one day something apparently “new” grabs you attention?

In his book the Master Key System, originally published in 1912, author Charles Haanel offers this affirmation: “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.”  I cannot say how many times I have read or heard his words before, but this particular time it seemed to be so much more important for all of us.

You have to understand that in his own words at the age of 13 he was “a twisted, cripple going about on my hands and knees.” He credits the change from that pitiful state to a strong healthy man with his continual use and belief in that one affirmation.

He said it all day long. He said it before sleeping, upon waking and in the middle of the night. One step at a time he simply convinced himself of the words until he was completely well. “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.”

Not all of us are suffering from some life threatening physical disability. However, if you really hear and feel those words you will understand the many positive results that are possible through their use. “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.”

When you are truly WHOLE you are using not just your intellect but your wonderful emotional yardstick to guide and direct your physical actions and direction. You are listening to your emotions and their intuitive guidance to tell you what is good for you and what is not.

In fact when you are WHOLE, you have fully integrated your spirit within your physical body. You are operating as your spirit and your soul but using your healthy physical body as your vehicle.

Are you “PERFECT”? Of course you are! You were born with all the right talents, the perfect attributes, to learn, dream, design and manifest your personal contributions to this earth. How much more perfect could you be?

Are you STRONG? Absolutely! You have at your disposal all the magnificent energy and strength of the cosmos. How much more strength could you possibly use? Call out for what you need and it is there. You have incredible strength for your use day and night. Part of that strength reveals itself as your faith filled belief in your own abilities.

POWERFUL? Certainly, for through right use of your thoughts and emotions you can make sweeping changes in your experience. You are a power filled manifestor, a marvelous creator! Not only do you have the ability to heal yourself but you can help others to access their own healing. That is astounding miracle working power.

LOVING? You were formed from love. It is your true nature. You have the use of love’s thoughtful and giving nature each day. Give more of it to yourself. Give it to others and you will find it coming back to you in even greater amounts. You are born to express your love, acknowledge it, offer it as your transforming gift to the earth and all her people.

HARMONIOUS? Your harmony pours forth as you allow and accept your world as it is now. It may not be easy but when you are able to access your ability to allow others to be as they are with all their pluses and minuses, you have created harmony.

Accept others and yourself with all your positives and negatives. Each one of you has at your core the spark of the Divine. Thank goodness that those sometimes startling opposites compose the personality and many times reveal one’s true life purpose.

Are you HAPPY? I certainly hope that you are not only happy but joyous. You have bushel basketfuls of possibilities that offer themselves to you every single day. Nothing is beyond your reach or imagination. Embrace choice! It is there for you.

Your ability to create your own idea of perfection should make you jump with joy and anticipation. What a wonderful opportunity to stretch your abilities and talents, expressing yourself to the maximum.
