Whether we are aware of it or not color plays a big part in our lives. The color of the walls in our home, the color of our car, the color of our stationery (for those of you who still write letters and thank you notes), and particularly the color of our clothes can and does profoundly affect our mood, concentration and emotions. Color can be the difference between humming a happy tune or crying, joyfully cleaning closets or absentmindedly breaking your glasses.

For instance, what do you feel when you see someone driving a tomato red car? What conclusions do you draw about that driver? Do you think he or she is energized, a live wire? How does it impress you to walk into a home or an office with walls painted totally in a dark and heavy brown? Depressed, unhappy, hiding out or simply hiding something?

I have always been fascinated with color. It isn’t enough that I feel the need to change the sheets on my bed every week, I simply must change the colors as well. This week I will have the bottom sheet a flowered blue and perhaps a light pink top sheet and the pillow slips? Well, you get the idea. Given a chance I would paint one or more walls in a bedroom pale blue or spring green invoking relaxation and the wonderful renewal of a sound sleep.

One of my other color “addictions” is dinnerware; plates and particularly coffee mugs. I know I own plenty of those mugs but show me one in just the right color and I have got to add it to my collection. Each morning I tend to ponder which mug is perfect for that day’s coffee and that day’s planned activities!

When I decorate any room I am thinking about the feeling I want to create. For instance a kitchen might call for sunshine yellow and any other light hearted mix of colors, a little orange or yellow, any colors that bring out childlike creativity and glee!  My living room might call for shades of red to encourage socializing, animated conversation.

If you knew for a certainty that the outcome of your day would be greatly enhanced by your picking the right color from your wardrobe, would you do it? I know many people who are wearing the same color or colors day after day perhaps because of their work environment requirements or simple habit. However, it is important to note that lack of attention to color can cause a day of enormous potential to become one of drab results.

It was not an accident that caused a particular real estate chain to ask their salesman to wear gold jackets. The color encourages respectful attention as well as good communication in general.

If you wake up to start your day feeling “out of sorts” just selecting the right color clothes to wear can truly help. It is amazing what putting on your favorite color blouse or shirt can do to lighten your mood. It can put you into a state of positive expectance, looking for happy little miracles.

When you feel the urge to eat late at night has it ever been triggered by a particularly colorful food advertisement on the television? Was it that hamburger photo revealing red tomatoes, a big slice of shiny orange appearing cheese, green lettuce?

If today’s agenda calls for a lot of intense work, wearing all black may not be the best choice. What color gives you the most concentration and energy? It is a very personal choice but an important one. Taking the time to become more attuned to what any one of the colors does for you personally, what effect it has on you, might be a great benefit.

If you are interacting with specific people for a purpose, consider what you are trying to accomplish and which colors could help you achieve your goal. Do you want to simply attract attention to yourself and your ideas or do you want to create a calmer more receptive atmosphere? Perhaps it is both but in any case the right colors can help.

You can make your very personal “science of color” work for you! It just requires a little experimenting and the desire to make your life events mirror your own special sparkle.

Years ago I found a powerful affirmation that directly addresses the desire for love in depth, a desire which many of us experience.  Then just a few days ago I again came across that same affirmation in one of my files. It still seemed so perfect that I felt I must share it with all of you who wish for a true partner connection.

The words “soul mates” are many times tossed about rather casually but if you are lucky enough to experience that deep relationship you will be sure to also sense that you have found your own heaven on earth.

I wish I could give appropriate credit for the words that follow. Unfortunately I no longer remember the source or the author. Read these paragraphs; test them with your emotions. You will know at once if the power filled words are meant for you.

“I think of all people I know by name, and I feel the harmlessness and harmony that exists between us.”

“I am thankful for my friends, and I see our relationships deepening in love, joy, and mutual understanding.”

“And I know there is a special Someone with overflowing love to share, who right at this moment is being attracted to the love I have to give, two flames soon uniting as one bond of love and ecstasy.”

Why would you want clear chakras? What are the positive results of a chakra clearing? Cleared chakras can bring a variety of benefits including the release of stress or trauma, calming of the emotions, improved physical health, increased spiritual focus and mental clarity.

The reason that the clearing of the chakras can affect so many aspects of life is that the chakra system is in coordinating and functioning control of the entire personal energy system. If the chakra system is brought into balance so does everything else in one’s experience become more balanced and grounded. There is improved self-confidence, peacefulness and a feeling of enjoying great control over the events of one’s life.

A person’s chakras are attached to and dependent upon a central column. That central column needs to be cleared so that it is able to fulfill its role as a channel allowing free interchange of the various energies. After a thorough clearing of the column each individual chakra in turn can be cleared and reenergized to vibrate and revolve at the correct speed.

In this way the coordination of the whole system is engaged and optimized. In other words, each chakra begins to operate in the way it was originally intended thus joining with and energizing the system as a whole. Positive changes begin and are immediately recognizable.

The personal chakra therapy treatments I offer to my clients include the use of 8 special musically tuned forks, color breathing, crystals and positive affirmations. A typical session takes 45 minutes to an hour or more depending upon the needs of the client.

Because chakras do hold karmic returns, there may be certain past life memories that come to the surface. These memories can then be directly recognized and resolved. Releasing past life fears or traumas can have a very positive effect on the quality of life today. Merely the aspect of reaching a more calm state of mind and emotion can allow solutions to current challenges to appear in a seemingly effortless way.

Each chakra clearing, alignment and reenergizing that I perform for someone is different because every client is unique and has unique desires and challenges. As a trained healing channel I am able to feel and see those areas of a person’s energy which require specialized attention. I always expend every effort to give that little extra that brings a session to its highest results.

Some of those excuses for inaction or as I refer to them “the I will WHEN avoidance tools” include: when the children are grown, when my life isn’t so hectic, when the economy improves, when my mate can be persuaded about my idea, when the weather cools, when I feel safe quitting this horrible job, when I lose weight and look better….. It goes on and on but they are still just excuses for staying stuck, immobile and unhappy.

When a deep seated soul desire continually knocks at your heart, doesn’t it make sense that you should move forward and begin to manifest it? What is it that stymies our ability to move forward?  Fear of encountering obstacles, fear of not achieving the desired results, fear of the negative opinions of friends, family, or strangers, fear of being somehow unworthy to reach so high, all of these fears and more can stand in the way of taking that first small action step toward reaching our desires. Believe it or not there are even folks who fear being too successful!

Frequently when I am reading for a client they will ask “just what is my life path?” How can I know if I am “on” it? My answer is that life path can always be found by uncovering and utilizing your own special talents.

Finding those gifts, abilities and talents you were born with and, through that exploration finding your life path, involves listening to the still small voice within your heart, your indwelling spirit. We all arrived on earth, this school of learning, to help and offer love to others but in our own unique personalized ways. The answer to accessing your life path is USE WHAT YOU WERE GIVEN!

When a particular idea haunts you, refusing to let you go, when it fills you with a warm emotional glow every time you entertain it, when it seemingly demands that you cherish it and hold it close, pay attention! No matter how large and overwhelming it seems to bring that desired result fully into your life, the reality is it only requires BEGINNNING. Take one small step at a time. Every day presents an opportunity to move forward to the fulfillment of your deep seated longing.

Write down your ideas, expand on them. Play with your ideas, change the approach till it feels right. Even the act of writing your thoughts, the energy you will use, contains miracle working power.

While the end result is still in the formative stages it is important to realize that many times it is best to hold your idea closely to your heart and not share it with others. However, you can still make a phone call or several calls that are your casual but alert inquiries. Gather information. Check out the online research possibilities. Take baby steps until you can see your way clearly. Just begin. Nothing will happen till you start building the energy through exploring and making decisions. Create a plan.

Waiting may or may not be appropriate in your own situation but do look at the opportunity to take one small action step every day to bring yourself closer to your most important dreams. We all deserve to have a happy and fulfilled life.

Apparently to lots of folks prosperity means owning the largest most elegant home. They must enjoy the finest dining and entertainment. When their bank account is so full they can’t imagine where next to invest the over flow, they feel prosperous. And, oh yes, their automobile is the latest model and definitely the most expensive. Perhaps they also employ a maid and a chauffer.

Then to other people prosperity is having true friends. Those friends who are always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. To those “other” people it  is also knowing who their “real self” is both physically and spiritually. They know without a doubt they are prosperous and filled with unlimited abundance because they came to this earth with talents and abilities to bring purpose and joy to their lives.  They realize they arrived to be caring and generous with others as well, learning all the while through love and forgiveness.

It is that feeling of innate security that lives in their hearts, the personal confidence that comes from the knowledge that they will always know what to do, what actions to take, how and when. For them it certainly is having just what they need when they need it but with no particularly urgent need for excess whether that need be food, shelter or transportation.

So what is prosperity to you? I have to emphasize that I have no quarrel with those who live the richest of lives with money to spare. My only thought is that a rich life also must include a spiritual balance that comes from give and take. When you have much and live triumphantly in a state of riches without the fear of loss, then you can be free to help others generously in a multitude of ways.

However, if there is always the need to jealously guard your fortune, there can be no joy, peace or contentment. It seems there is simply never “enough”. True prosperity is a joyous sharing of your heart with others. It depends on a different way of thinking and acting stretching yourself far beyond acquiring just the things that money can provide. If you are able to bring out the highest and best qualities in yourself and others, you have attained the ultimate in riches.

After all, when everything is said and done, we are a creation of the most high spirit. Yes, we live in the confines and demands of an earthly body but our responsibility will always be to express our divine spark in the best way possible. We feel the urge the strong pull to use our talents, expand our gifts and offer them to others.

We are here to learn to love and learn in a thousand different ways. For each of us to practice love is to unconditionally embrace, honor and respect the divine spark existing at the heart of every living person and thing.

At the same time you must never forget your own spiritual origin. You are a perfect light and love filled spirit enjoying a human experience. Remember to honor your own wondrous soul! You are unique, special and important. For all those reasons you now are and will always be abundant, prosperous, rich and secure. This is your birth right.

Is the space where you live, work and play completely clear and energized? How does your living room, bedroom or office feel? Or are there times when you feel you have stepped into a sort of energetic cloudiness?  Do you ever encounter a feeling of general unrest and you don’t understand who, what or where it is coming from?

If you repeatedly enter into a somewhat darker or less cheerful energy in one of the areas you habitually use, perhaps it is time to investigate further. If for instance you have recently moved into a different home or apartment and do not feel energetically supported by your surroundings, it may be that you are hosting the unpleasant dark energy of a previous tenant or owner.

When unhealthy activities of any kind have taken place in a location, there may be a “hangover” of those events present. A room that was used for some extended period as a sick room can still radiate that feeling. An area where violent confrontations have taken place may seem to still reverberate with that noise and anger.

If on the other hand you encounter some new or unusual unpleasantness where there was none previously it is possible that you have picked up a negative “cord” or attachment somewhere in your travels. It is entirely possible that negativity which you innocently carried can feel at home and then deposit itself in your space.

Those of us who are sensitive to disruptive forces may suffer when in unhappy or fearful locations. Even when our emotional upset or distressed feelings are only in response to energetic memories imbedded in the walls (as opposed to literal ghosts or spirits) a good psychic house or office clearing may be the best solution.

Many times through the years I have been called to remove and replace such confusing and unhappy vibrations in addition to freeing an occasional stuck spirit, ghost or apparition. Having made an initial assessment of a particular situation with my guides, I have many diverse methods at my disposal that I can use in various combinations for a clearing.

O.K. I know many of us have seen our dreams dissolve or at least take a startling side track. I realize globally it has been a year  of distressing weather. Hundreds of souls left the planet to “go home”. Many of the institutions we had counted on, depended on, simply failed.

On Sunday January 1, 2012 in  an attempt to sooth our lives and emotions, perhaps improve our upcoming experiences, many churches and other groups held “burning bowl” ceremonies. The very personal situations that individuals wanted to release from 2011 were written on slips of paper and burned. That is fine but I just have a different point of view.

For me 2011 was a year when magnificent changes in perspective began to appear. People began to accept more responsibility for their own lives. Suddenly it became clear that each of is the architect of our own personal future.

In fact with meditation and perseverance many of us diligently searched and began to find our own answers. We began listening to our own spirits and higher selves. We no longer depended on governments or corporate institutions to think for us. That is what I see as the beginnings of Self Mastery!

Yes, for me 2011 was a beautiful time. I found wonderful new friends. I expanded my healing-teaching practice in ways I had not considered previously. New practical tools for teaching intuitive development came to me. I earned my Clinical Hypnotist certification.

I will always see 2011 as a time of great personal progress. It was a time when I assimilated new ideas, new ways of living. Even in the difficult and “prickly” times, and there were many,  I understood the advantages of change no matter how sudden, dramatic and startling.

I do not wish to “burn” any of 2011. Instead I intend to carry the lessons learned and the knowledge acquired into 2012 to be analyzed, understood, incorporated and used in my new year to the best of my ability.

While I am eagerly anticipating what the new year may bring, I remain steadfastly grateful for every one of my experiences of the year just past. At least from my point of view 2011 was indeed a “Master Year”.

Dawn comes. It is a new day. It is a new beginning and a new chance. Whatever you want to change, whatever you want to create for your life. You have the power. The time to start is now.

No need to wait for a new week, a new month or a new year. Start today with this moment, this brand new day. Your future starts now with one small change at a time as you begin manifesting your vision, your dream.

So many times, far too many times, we put off, delay, and postpone our greatest desires until… Until what? Until conditions are perfect? They never will be. Until everyone agrees with our plan? Believe me, you will never get “everyone” to agree on anything. Until conditions are right? Ha! Conditions are always in flux. Putting your life on hold “until” just allows your visions to fade and die.

I encourage all of us to push forward with joy and enthusiasm, taking whatever actions seem right to us. Let us decide to use our highest wisdom, believe in our own Spirit-infused intuitive natures and begin to accomplish our future today.

Yes, New Year’s resolutions are fine but what about the Monday starting the week resolutions? Even better could we perhaps decide to wake every morning with the enthusiastic belief that this very day we can and will accomplish the next step in our life path goals?

I am suggesting that each of us make a plan and hold that plan close in our hearts. Give your ideas the love and energy they deserve. Expect growth, expect blooming. The results will come.

Know that you may encounter opposition from friends and even family. You may be subjected to unwanted advice. Not everyone will understand or agree with the things you do for your own progress. Nevertheless do not let anything or anyone stop you from acting on your personal truth.

You are the one in charge of shaping your life in the direction it was always intended to go. You are free to be the your very best you. Do not give your precious power away by letting others dictate what is right for you.

Each one of you is unique, special and valuable. Your talents, your skills, your outlook are all your personal gifts and attributes. You are not like anyone else. Be proud of your individuality and use it for your special brand of service in this earth life.

The actions that each of us takes now are the forerunners of our future. Don’t sit on the sidelines. Give your best self to life today.
