Get the most from your psychic reading! When you schedule a psychic reading, trance counseling session, you want as much channeled information as you can receive in the time allotted. How do you do that? The first step is to prepare all your questions in advance.

What kinds of questions might you want to ask me as a psychic? Here are just a few of the possibilities: Should I move to another location? Is this or that city better for my energy? If I take this person as a business partner will we be successful? Can you tell me my main guide or teacher? Am I in the right line of work? How can I access my abilities as an energy healer? Is my current life partner allowing my spiritual growth? What if I can’t seem to meditate? Did I really see the spirit of my mother last night, was she speaking to me, or was it just a dream?

So you see there are many, many possible questions. Ask all of them whether they concern you personally, your family, your friends or fellow workers. Nothing is “off limits” in a psychic reading.

In preparing for your psychic reading I always take some definite actions.  First I fill my study with White Light for protection. I always make certain that I am personally clear of any negative energy and that I am highly energized.

Additionally, I place the four archangels at the corners of the room where I am bringing in the psychic trance information: Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, Archangel Uriel and Archangel Gabriel. The archangels always help to assure the information is accurate and positive in nature. I state aloud: “I intend, affirm and allow only the highest and best information from spirit for this psychic trance reading.”

As a trance medium I want to answer as many of your questions as possible. While I am able to use all of my abilities as a psychic clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient and medium, many times because I am a mental medium, I simple allow your guides, teachers or loved ones in spirit to impress me with what they want you to know.

Although I encourage your questions, often other things will come up in a psychic reading. When I am working with you psychically, I may see and hear from one of your guides even before you ask your first question. It is not unusual for me to clairvoyantly see a loved one in spirit standing beside you. Occasionally I will note that you have picked up what is called a negative cord or attachment and I will offer to remove it.

As you are asking your questions it is good to just relax. When you are in a calm and relaxed state your psychic session flows easily and steadily. Allow any of the spirits to offer information even if you do not immediately recognize the presenting spirit. Often if you will listen to the recording I make of your psychic reading a few days or even weeks later, you may realize who this spirit was and understand the importance or relevance of the message.

There can be people from your past as far back as grade school, friends who have passed to spirit, and yet they desire to maintain that connection or contact. Often a number of “surprise” spirits who will step into a psychic reading. This is especially true with those members of your own soul group.

I have noticed for instance that even if you did not consciously physically know your grandfather, he may be part of the psychic reading. It is possible he passed to spirit long before you were born but he is still part of your human family connection and will want to speak of one of your challenges or accomplishments.

People often ask me when a dear loved one has passed into spirit “Is it too early to communicate with them?” There is no set answer to that. Some newly passed spirits will talk through me almost immediately after their transition. Some spend more time getting acquainted with their new heavenly location.

It is my personal opinion that those spirits who are near the completion of their multiple lifetimes of “lessons” are more likely to be available simply because they have been through the transition so often and understand it. Their availability also seems to relate not so much to the quality of this lifetime, gentle or harsh, loving or abrasive, but to the soul’s individual development.

It is important to state that one of the excellent reasons for receiving a psychic reading is to be able to see the probable future outcomes that appear to be forming if you elect to make no changes in your ideas and actions. The advantage of having that psychic knowledge is that you can then decide to make appropriate adjustments in your daily life to create the future you desire. Nothing is ever “set in stone.” In other words you are always free to use your personal energy in different ways and create different outcomes for your future.

How do you personally react to unexpected, unplanned for change? Is a small or large change exciting, perhaps energizing? On the other hand is it unsettling? Is it frightening?

Does your reaction and emotion depend solely on how large or pervasive the change is? Does your feeling about any particular change depend on whether or not it opposes your intended plans?

I feel all of us can readily acknowledge that change is an ongoing and unavoidable part of life! If we know how to use change to fuel our personal progression, allowing it to open our view of life’s ongoing flow, it can then introduce us to new more productive ideas. The first rule is resist not!

If each of us would be more accepting of the inevitability of change perhaps we could be more accepting of the changes themselves as they occur. In fact we could let go of any tendency of immediate resistance which then would allow us to halt any rush to negative judgments about a particular change of direction or new happening. Whether you realize it or not, every change can be a beautiful gift.

It appears that most of us at this particular time in earth’s evolution are earnestly seeking the evolution and ascension of our own souls. It seems you and I desire to move up higher to ascend to an understanding of our oneness with all life and our greater purpose. We truly aspire to honor the divinity of all but from time to time find ourselves lapsing into the old ways of judgment. We dig in and declare we want our way. We feel everyone else should see how “right” we are and conform.

For each of us individually and jointly to reach a higher view of ourselves, our world and others, we must let go of many of the labels and judgments we have previously used. In that quest it seems especially important first to accept all manner of changes as they occur and then to use those changes as stepping stones to elevated accomplishments. In other words, when we insist on our plans working to our specific specifications, we many times block what could have been much improved outcomes!

On the matter of accepting and allowing it could be that when we find ourselves mired in the sameness of everyday life, it might serve us to deliberately introduce change. When there is no “fresh breeze” flowing through our lives we can stagnate. Ideas are few and far between. That is the time to consider the benefits of intentional change.

What sort of change might be beneficial? Large changes or even tiny ones can gift you with a different point of view, a new focus. Take the class or workshop you thought about but never made the effort. Get a haircut and a massage. Look for an apartment with a view. Give some of your time to a cause that you believe in. Become a Big Brother or Sister. Make an innovation of any sort that appeals to you and see what happens!

I personally am good at making detailed plans for most any event but I am also good at winging it! I had a friend tell me that I am the only person he knows who can pick up and move across town or across the world without a second thought or fear. Why can I do that? Because I trust myself and my intuition.

I know that each one of you who are reading this have the same ability to feel your own best actions and options. Your intuition is just waiting for you to fearlessly acknowledge your own perceptions and take appropriate action. If you are mired in too much sameness, do something about it. Pick a direction and take it!

If your new effort works to your satisfaction, great! If not try again. Everything you do, every result you encounter provides feedback with an opportunity to learn. Enjoy every experience. Embrace the gift of change. Know with every change you are moving forward to new heights.

As I write this article I am sitting in my new Cottonwood, Arizona home. I have been here nearly two weeks and I love it. The desert began to call me a couple of months ago from Sarasota Florida where I had been living and working. I am very glad I listened!
